As an expatriate, I can attest firsthand to Bahrain's reputation as one of the safest and most welcoming places to live. The warmth and generosity extended to expatriates here are truly unparalleled.

Bahrain has demonstrated remarkable compassion and support for its expatriate population in times of crisis. Amid the global pandemic, Bahrain emerged as a leader in providing essential assistance, offering free electricity and vaccines to expatriates—a gesture of goodwill that set a precedent for global solidarity.

Moreover, Bahrain has consistently acknowledged and valued the contributions of its expatriate community. While prioritising job opportunities for residents, the government has implemented policies that ensure expatriates are not marginalized but integrated into the fabric of Bahraini society.

One noteworthy example of Bahrain's commitment to inclusivity is providing free land to construct churches and temples—a testament to His Majesty's vision of fostering religious harmony and interfaith dialogue.

Crucially, Bahrain sets high standards for protecting expatriate workers, with stringent labour reforms ensuring fair treatment and safeguarding against exploitation. Whether domestic workers or skilled professionals, expatriates in Bahrain can expect equal rights and protections under the law.

As a representative of the expatriate community, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of his Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years of exemplary leadership. I also congratulate His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the entire Royal Family and the people of Bahrain on this momentous occasion.
